Directions to Yamba

Yamba is approximately 3 hours south of Brisbane and approximately 9 hours north of Sydney at the mouth of the Clarence River.

Heading South on the Pacific Highway from Brisbane

Take the Pacific Hwy south towards Ballina. From Ballina, the Yamba turnoff is about 1 hour further south. Immediately after crossing the Clarence River on the Harwood Bridge turn left and follow the signs to Yamba. (Note: Careful not to be confused with the Richmond River at Broadwater which you cross first, before you reach the Clarence River at Harwood).

Heading North on the Pacific Highway from Sydney

Take the Pacific Hwy north towards Grafton. From Grafton, the Yamba turnoff is about 50 minutes. Don’t take the Maclean exit but keep going until you reach the Harwood Bridge. Do not cross the bridge but take the Yamba exit immediately before it. Follow the signs to Yamba.
